IR... Yep, I'm unfortunately putting myself on injured reserve list. The front of my ankle up to the mid-bottom of my shins have been giving me some pain since Monday (the day after my 22-miler on the Silver Comet Trail). Based on past experience with this trail and this leg/foot, my self prognosis is that its an overuse injury. I'll be resting, icing, Epsom salt bathing, and all of that good stuff. Meanwhile, I'll need to keep my fitness up with some stair climbing and body weight resistance workouts. Hoping to recover as soon as possible, but I won't be taking any unnecessary risks.
