Another double update day. These are becoming far too frequent.
Saturday, I ran a 4 mile race in 26:56; that's 6:45 per mile. I ran it in my new Lunaracers. Good thing is they felt great, and I ran fast. The bad thing is that my left ankle has been pretty tender, which is very uncommon for me. I think it was the speed and the hills though, not ready to blame it on the shoes. I still plan on running Sunday's half marathon in them. And maybe even the full marathon in November.
Today (Monday), I ran another 4 miler (4.09 actually)... this time in 42:50 (10:26 per mile). Same distance but BIG difference in pace. I used this as a very slow recovery run to try and heal up this left ankle. We'll see how it goes. I want to be in good shape for the half marathon.
